Digital marketing and using digital tools in youth-work

We are constantly exposed to digital marketing. Campaigns appear on our computers, smartphones, tablets, and other digital devices. Digital marketing comes in many forms, including social media posts, display ads, online videos, search engine marketing, and sponsored ads on social media.

The manual, titled "Digital Marketing and Using Digital Tools in Youth Work", serves as a thorough guide for youth workers, detailing various aspects of digital marketing and its use in youth work.

This manual highlights the necessity for youth work to remain competitive in delivering educational services. It has been created as part of the “Learning in Youth Work of the 21st Century” project. The project focuses on adapting youth work to the online environment, equipping youth organizations and workers with practical tools for developing or adjusting educational activities online. It is crucial to provide unique tools to help organizations and individuals engage with as many young people as possible within their budget and constraints.

Structured to offer both theoretical and practical insights, the manual includes chapters on different types of digital marketing, strategies for content creation, campaign planning, and the effective use of visuals and photography.

Our goal with this manual is to provide youth organizations and youth workers with practical tools to understand digital marketing and to take their initial steps in creating digital marketing plans, activities, and campaigns to reach a larger audience of young people.
