Learning in Youth Work of 21st century

The whole project is covering the idea of adapting youth work to the online environment and providing youth work organisations and youth workers with practical tools that can be used for developing or adapting educational activities to the online environment, it’s important to provide a unique tool that can help organisations and individuals to engage with as many young people as their budgets and other conditions are allowing.

In order to have quality youth work that meets the needs of young people in this modern era, youth work needs to include digital tools and online learning.

Objectives

  • Bring positive and long-lasting effects on participating organisations and the sector of youth work by enhancing knowledge management with new innovative resources for the development of educational activities within youth work and training models/curricula in order to provide quality youth work educational activities that will address the needs of each specific target group

  • Support youth workers and educational trainers in acquiring and developing key competences as youth trainers (of other youth workers) in the field of developing and using e-learning materials and online courses in youth work; and marketing strategies and tools for higher involvement and promotion of activities for youth

  • Engage in intensive dissemination and exploitation activities of existing and newly produced products and attract more youth organisations and youth workers on using the new innovative tools and approaches, and thus increase the quality and quantity of educational youth work activities
